This is a five-part series for qualitative researchers, new and experienced, who are interested in using qualitative data analysis (QDA) software to facilitate their studies. This workshop will focus on teaching MAXQDA, a QDA software for which D-Lab offers substantive support.

The trainings are Monday to Friday, August 13 to 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. in 371 Barrows Hall. After the formal trainings, the D-Lab Qualitative Research Lead will remain available from 4 to 5 p.m. to answer questions and provide no-appointment consulting.

Participants who do not have MAXQDA should download the trial for hands-on learning.

Part 5 - Advanced Software Features (Friday, August 17)

This session continues presenting MAXQDA's more advanced functionality, such as the code relations browser, documents portrait, and MAXMaps features, while participants engage in hands-on learning. Participants are again encouraged to prepare for this session by taking time after each of the previous sessions to organize their data set.
