This workshop will provide an overview of resources on campus for getting started with geographic data, spatial analysis and mapping. Nancy Thomas will introduce the Geospatial Innovation Facility (GIF) and discuss the GIF workshop program and the GeoLunch speaker series. Susan Powell will review the geospatial software, data, and online resources available via the UC Berkeley library system and describe the trainings she will be giving this semester.  Patty Frontiera will present a preview of upcoming geospatial workshops at the D-Lab and provide information on D-Lab consulting services.

Bring your questions as well as your wish list for related workshops and services you would like to see offered.  Light refreshments will be served so please register as soon as you can.
