This is a five-part series for qualitative researchers, new and experienced, who are interested in using qualitative data analysis (QDA) software to facilitate their studies. This workshop will focus on teaching MAXQDA, a QDA software for which D-Lab offers substantive support.
The trainings are Monday to Friday, August 13 to 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. in 371 Barrows Hall. After the formal trainings, the D-Lab Qualitative Research Lead will remain available from 4 to 5 p.m. to answer questions and provide no-appointment consulting.
Participants who do not have MAXQDA should download the trial for hands-on learning.
Part 1 - Introduction to Qualitative Research and QDA Software (Monday, August 13)

This session will then introduce QDA software, noting benefits and providing an overview of the four most popular programs (ATLAS.ti, Dedoose, NVivo, and MAXQDA).
