Join Zawadi Rucks-Ahidiana, previously the Qualitative Research Lead at D-Lab and currently a PhD Candidate in the Sociology Department, to learn about her engagement in multi-method analysis with newspaper articles as qualitative data sources. Zawadi will discuss her work, specifically her dissertation research, before engaging in an extensive Q&A with attendees. Digital Humanities Working Group at the D-Lab

The Berkeley Digital Humanities Working Group (DHWG) is for more than just networking, we workshop student projects, provide hackspace opportunities, combine meetings with other working groups on campus, and run the annual DH Faire. This semester we meet every other Thursday from 11AM-12PM in the D-Lab Collaboratory 356 Barrows. We have a meeting this week on March 22nd, the DH Faire from April 2-9, and our end of the year gathering on April 26 remaining this semester.

Pandas is a Python package providing fast, flexible, and expressive data structures designed to make working with 'relational' or 'labeled' data both easy and intuitive. It enables doing practical, real world data analysis in Python.
