When & Where
Date:
Thu, February 18, 2016 - 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Location:
D-Lab: Convening Room (356 Barrows Hall)
Description
Type:

This workshop will focus on how to quickly set up database-like structures in Google Sheets and then flexibly build various kinds of reports and displays on top of a sound data foundation. I come at this as a manager (of datavis and web teams) rather than as a stats person. So the goals are (a) fast but shallow assessment of flat datasets to see possibilities and (b) creating database-like structures within a spreadsheet that maximize flexibility for data reuse for various displays.
