Organization in the Qualitative Data Analysis Process

I have my data. Now what? We will discuss several approaches to organizing data and how to use NVivo in that process.  The training will outline the key decisions a researcher must make about the unit of analysis, the coding approach, and what data is most relevant, as well as review the use of folders, codes, and attributes in NVivo.

Analytical Tools in NVIvo

As part of this training we will address what "analysis" means, for qualitative data and how using a software program can help the researcher in that process.  This will include a discussion of fine and broad coding, and the use of queries including how the researcher can use folders, codes, and attributes to aid in the analytical process.
