Tom was the principal survey statistician for many years at UCB’s Survey Research Center (now closed). He taught the sampling course in the School of Public Health from 1995 to 2012, and was manager of SDA (Survey Documentation and Analysis) development for many years here at Berkeley. He is now semi-retired but advises various projects on issues of sampling and weighting.
