This workshop will introduce geocoding--the process of determining the geographic location of a place name, zipcode, or address. The first part of this workshop will be an introduction to the process of geocoding and strategies for achieving good results. We will briefly discuss the pros and cons of the various software tools available for geocoding. A hands-on activity will walk through the process using ArcGIS Online.

Prior knowledge requirements: No prior knowledge necessary

Technology requirements: Please bring a laptop with you.
