Garret Christensen is an Assistant Project Scientist with the Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences. He received his PhD in Economics from UC Berkeley in 2011. He is in interested in questions of causal inference in labor and development economics, particularly with regards to child health and education programs, and he has done extensive field work in East Africa. He has also walked from border to border across the entire United States four times.
