Interactive Web-based Graphics with Bokeh

In this workshop, we'll go over the basic high-level charting library available with Bokeh and explain when you might use it (as opposed to matplotlib, D3, ggplot, etc.). We'll give a brief explanation of how web browsers work, and implement some basic interactions on our plots. If you have data you'd like to plot, you are welcome to provide it to Dav *at least one week prior to the workshop*, and we'll see if we can fit it in. 

Requirements:  Anaconda or BCE Summer 2015 (which has Anaconda)

Before the training, students with regular Anaconda should execute:

$ conda create -n bokeh python=3.4 bokeh pandas

If that's confusing, they should take a basic command line training first.
