Part 2: Working With Projections & Spatial Queries

In this two-hour workshop, students will build on Part 1, exploring "on-the-fly" projection transformations in QGIS and practicing spatial queries. They will practice with CRS transformations and learn about some commonly used CRSs. Students will also get familiar with some capabilities of QGIS for working with attribute tables and building queries based on attribute values and topological relationships. They will have the opportunity to practice working with attribute tables, explore topological relationships between data layers and features, and will learn to build both attribute and topological queries using QGIS tools. (prerequisite: GIS Fundamentals with QGIS: Part 1)
