Data Sources to Contextualize Qualitative Research

Ever wonder how to find demographic data about your research site? In this workshop, Jon Stiles will provide an introduction to where to find this kind of data. He will focus in particular on spatially referenced data (what do the demographics of this area look like), as well as contextual information for reference groups (what do people similar to the people I interview/observe look like), showing sources and uses for data from the administrative and survey sources.

Prior knowledge: No prior knowledge is required for this workshop. Register if you have any interest in learning about how to find and use demographic data.
