This two-hour seminar is designed to give Qualtrics beginners the skills and knowledge to successfully run online surveys and survey experiments. The seminar will cover the Qualtrics environment, question design, question blocks and survey flow, display logic, and other tools for creating respondent-friendly surveys. It will also address the use of embedded data, randomization for experiments, and piped text for tailored questions. The seminar will emphasize best practices to minimize back-end data cleaning and recoding and help survey researchers move from design to analysis with ease. (Laptops not required, but students may wish to bring them.)
