A two-part, two-hour workshop for faculty, graduate students, and staff who want to start a digital project that includes a web presence.
Day 1
The first part will cover how to set up and configure a basic Drupal site using free hosting, and how to develop well-structured "content types" to store whatever data your project is working with (poems, verbs, quotes from a novel, excerpts from documents, historical events, etc.)
Day 2
The second part will cover ways of displaying your project data that can surface new connections and insights.
No technical background or programming experience is required for these workshops.
This workshop is co-hosted by the Doreen B. Townsend Center for the Humanities at the University of California, Berkeley.
