When & Where
Date:
Wed, April 29, 2015 - 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Location:
D-Lab: Convening Room (Barrows 356B)
Description
Type:

This 3-hour Stata workshop is designed for people who have already taken D-Lab's 'Beginning Stata' and 'Intermediate Stata' workshops or have significant previous experience with Stata. Students will review regression analysis, and basic regression output, and discuss two major topics:

  1. Using loops and local macros to design and format any table you like, using any regression or testing output that you produce.
  2. Advanced regression modeling, such as panel regressions with fixed or random effects, poisson regression for count data, or conditional and mixed logit models for discrete choices (i.e. where your left hand side variable is categorical).

A working knowledge of regression techniques will be assumed.
