Corey M. Abramson is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Arizona. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Sociology at the University of California, Berkeley in 2012 and spent the following year as a post-doctoral fellow at the Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies at the University of California, San Francisco. Professor Abramson has over a decade-and-a-half of experience using, teaching, and developing methods of Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis (CAQDA).
Abramson's research uses both quantitative and qualitative methods to explain how social inequality is reproduced over time. The End Game: How Inequality Shapes Our Final Years, his first book on this topic, is being published by Harvard University Press in 2015.
