I am a graduate student in the Political Science department. I study politics in large cities in the United States, focusing on responsiveness to interest groups and public opinion on land-use and crime and policing. My work relies on quantitative analysis of observational data and the use of surveys.
Dan is a PhD student in the Management of Organizations group at the Haas School of Business. Drawing on both observational field data and experimental research in the laboratory, he studies how people form impressions of others in group settings as well as how people identify with their social groups.
