Vernon Gayle is Professor of Sociology and Social Statistics at the University of Edinburgh.
His main research interests include social stratification, the sociology of youth and the sociology of education. But he also has research interests in migration, subjective well being, populations, fertility, digital social research and the sociology of sport.
His methodological interests include the analysis of large-scale and complex social science datasets, statistical modelling, longitudinal data, administrative social science data, missing data methods and social networks.
Dr Roxanne Connelly is a Senior Lecture (Associate Professor) at the University of York, UK. Her main research interests include social stratification, the sociology of education, and psychological measures in societal contexts. Her methodological interests include data intensive social science and transparent and reproducible research.
Dr Christopher Playford is a Lecture (Assistant Professor) at the University of Exeter, UK. His main research interests include social stratification, the sociology of education, and the sociology of work. His methodological interests include statistical methods, latent variable modelling, missing data methods and transparent and reproducible research.
