Genevieve came to doctoral studies after obtaining Master of Social Work and Master of Science in Marriage and Family Studies degrees from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and engaging in over five years of professional practice. Her current research focuses on child mental health policy and evidence-based practice.

At this event, Genevieve will provide a brief presentation focused on the methodology engaged for her dissertation on home and community-based behavioral healthcare needs for youth. Focusing on her engagement in mixed-methods research, attendees will spend the bulk of their time engaging in a discussion with Genevieve, learning from her success in completing a PhD program, being published in several journals, presenting at various conferences, and securing a tenure-track professorship.
