The D-Lab supports quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research at each stage of the process—from research design to data analysis. We need a member on our Services Team, producing our trainings, services, and outreach. This team member will: plan, schedule and facilitate workshops and trainings, recruit and interview instructors, coordinate and support working groups, reach out to departments, and monitor user analytics to ensure that we are meeting students’ needs.

Position Details:

This position will begin in Spring 2016. The position will be compensated at $23.51/hour for approximately 10 hours weekly, during the Spring Semester. It is our intention that this period will partially serve as an orientation and training period to allow the current Workshop Production Lead to “hand-off” responsibilities to you before the end of the 2015-16 academic year, and that the position continue through academic year 2016-17, as a 50% GSR position with fee remission. Please do not apply unless you can continue through both the Fall of 2016 and the Spring of 2017.

Position Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and a commitment to the D-Lab mission - we want you to want to work here!
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience creating and editing web pages in content management systems
  • Experience managing projects or teams

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Task management experience in project management software (ideally Asana or the like)
  • Experience managing teams or projects using web-based services like Google Drive, bCal, Slack, and email
  • Drupal CMS experience
