By Hector Fernando Burga Staff, students and faculty at the third floor at Barrows have been witnessing much activity on the North side of the building. Construction workers have been diligently taking apart wall partitions and placing new metal channels to provide the skeleton for what will soon be D-lab’s Collaboratorium space. The schedule is being fulfilled and slowly the space is being transformed through the efforts of a team which includes architects, D-Lab staff, and students. We hope that once constructed D-Lab will become a destination point for those who have questions about Data. Envisioning a space that will serve these purposes has been an integral part of our thinking. Much remains to go up on the walls, but every day that passes ensures that we will get closer the the realization of that vision.
