Aubrey is an undergraduate History major with a concentration in nineteenth-century American women’s history, and a Digital Humanities minor. She is currently completing her honors thesis which combines historical analysis and computational methods to examine how language in nineteenth-century newspapers constructed, prescribed, and reinforced cultural attitudes towards women. Aubrey is looking forward to sharing a passion for learning about the tools and research opportunities the Digital Humanities have to offer with fellow undergraduate students in BUDHA.
