When & Where
Date:
Thu, November 7, 2013 - 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Location:
Bioscience & Natural Resources Library Training Room, VLSB
Description
Type:

Interested in relatively easy-to-use software that will *save you hours* of time?

Did you know that RefWorks is *free* for UCB students, staff, and faculty?

Did you know that EndNote is available for a *substantial discount* for UCB students, staff, and faculty?

In this class, we will cover the basics of using both EndNote and RefWorks. We'll go over how to add citations to your database, organize your citations, format your bibliography, and how to use EndNote and RefWorks with Microsoft Word to create reference lists and bibliographies.

This class will be useful for you who are EndNote and/or RefWorks novices, for you who want a little tune-up, for those of you struggling a bit with the software. It will also be useful for those of you who are trying to decide which one to use (if either!)

Advance sign-up is not required

The Bioscience Library Training Room is equipped with Windows 7 PCs. If you already have EndNote installed on your laptop, you can work on your own computer. You can also download a 30-day free EndNote trial from http://endnote.com/downloads/30-day-trial.
