Aubrey is an undergraduate History major with a concentration in nineteenth-century American women’s history, and a Digital Humanities minor. She is currently completing her honors thesis which combines historical analysis and computational methods to examine how language in nineteenth-century newspapers constructed, prescribed, and reinforced cultural attitudes towards women. Aubrey is looking forward to sharing a passion for learning about the tools and research opportunities the Digital Humanities have to offer with fellow undergraduate students in BUDHA. When not studying, she can be found sauntering through nature, baking homemade delights, or hiding out with a good book and a hot cup of tea.
