Regression analysis is a standard statistical method used in most analyses of social science data. This workshop will provide an overview of regression analysis, structured for individuals with knowledge of basic statistics but little to no background in regression. Regression procedures will be implemented in Stata.

This workshop will provide a hands-on introduction to Stata. Participants will gain facility in using Stata for basic data management and analysis, which includes reading in data, data cleaning and using Stata's built in commands to run basic statistical analyses, including descriptive statistics, generating frequencies and running hypothesis tests.
