Christopher Church

Christopher Church is a PhD candidate in History in the College of Letters and Science, UC Berkeley. His dissertation explores catastrophes and civil unrest in the nineteenth-century French Caribbean. Before working for D-Lab, he was the History Department’s Digital Humanities Coordinator. His interests include colonialism, citizenship, and environmental history, as well as databases, GIS, scripting, and web design.
