John Scott

John is a PhD candidate and Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Education and The Berkeley Center for New Media. His research includes analysis of student usage patterns in online learning environments. More broadly, he explores digital contexts for learning in formal and informal spaces, with a focus on how practices of remix, virtual collaboration, and digital aesthetics influence emergent literacy practices and new forms of meaning-making and knowledge production.
