This workshop can serve as an introduction for participants who are new to qualitative research, as well as a refresher for those who have limited training. Exploring Berkeley IGS Poll Data in Python

Between April 16 and 20, 2020 the Institute of Governmental Studies (IGS), in conjunction with the California Institute of Health Equity and Action(Cal-IHEA), polled 8,800 registered voters about a variety of issues concerning the current state of politics and COVID-19. This was an unprecedented and urgently needed pulse-taking of the California populace during the pandemic.

R Bootcamp

Co-sponsored by the UC Berkeley Statistics Department and the D-Lab. This will be a virtual version of the usual two-day in-person workshop we hold in August every year.

Note that the tentative times are 8:30 am - 1 pm Monday August 10 - Thursday August 13, but the exact time on each day may shorten or shift a bit. A change to the earlier announcement is that the last day will be Thursday not Friday. IMPORTANT: the Thursday session is (for some reason) not showing up in the dates listed above.
